Next Friday Night Thing - March 28th 7PM-11PM

The next Friday Night Thing is set for Friday, March 28th at our regular haunt, the Greenbrier Ridge Apts. Clubhouse from 7PM-11PM. The evening will be a combination Game Night & Potluck Dinner, so start dusting off your best recipes and bring enough to share with your Soul Purpose friends, and any fun board or interactive games you might wish to bring. Stay tuned to soulpurpose.fefc.com for further details as they develop or on the Facebook group page at Facebook.com.  If you are not a part of Soul Purpose on Facebook, you can click on the “Get Connected” tab on this website to find out how to join our group on Facebook.

The Greebrier Ridge Clubhouse is at 3290 Lonas Road.  The recommended way to get there is to travel down Middlebrook towards Western Avenue and when you get to the intersection of Middlebrook and Ed Shouse, stay on Middlebrook and go to the next light, which is Lonas Road. Turn Right onto Lonas and then you will pass the South College campus on the left. After you pass South College, the entrance to Greenbrier Ridge is the next left. Turn into the complex and then take the first right and it will take you towards the clubhouse.

We hope to see everyone on the 28th! Don’t forget, this is also a good way to introduce your friends to Soul Purpose as well!

New Sunday Hub Series - “Jesus’ Guide to Romantic Relationships”

This month our discussion series on Sunday mornings will explore the teachings of Jesus to uncover His principles for understanding and developing romantic relationships. Join us as we study together Jesus’ theology of romance . . . How does He want us as single adults to think about romance? . . . When and why does He ask us to live without it? . . . When and how does He want us to pursue romance? . . . And how does He want us to serve him through our romantic relationships? We will wrestle with all of these questions and more.

Please be sure and join us Sundays in March for this important series, Jesus’ Guide to Romantic Relationships

Church Blitz Day, Saturday, February 2nd

Our Next Fellowship Church All Church “Blitz Day” happens Saturday, February 2nd from 8AM - 1PM. All volunteers will meet in the lobby for coffee and donuts then start our efforts to “spruce up the church building”.   All supplies and equipment needed are furnished by the church, so just bring your willing servant heart and come ready to work.

We always have a great time while we work to make our building an inviting place, so come and enjoy helping to beautify God’s house and fellowship with members from throughout our church body.   (Rumor has it that there is not as much to do as some times in the past, so if we get a good crowd, we may be able to knock this out in a couple of hours or so.) Anyone interested can go grab brunch/lunch afterwards.
