We would like everyone to bring their favorite games!

And as always we would love to have good food! Please bring a snack and beverage to share. We would love to encourage some healthy snacks so if you would like to bring a fruit or veggie the coordinators will put together some fruit/veggie trays. Below is a brief description from Stacie of what we will be discussing and learning about in this exciting series:

“Many of us start our walks with the Lord when we are young and life is full of possibilities. We thrive in youth, but as time goes by we find ourselves surviving day to day. How can we continue to thrive in our walks with the Lord as single adults? How can we love life?”

Our next Fellowship Singles Winter Dance is Saturday, February 13th at the beautiful Cherokee Mills Atrium! While the tickets say the dance is from 7PM-10PM, be sure not to miss the FREE Dance Lessons from 6PM-7 PM, featuring East Coast Swing (led by Andy Johnson and Mary Sayler) and Rumba (led by Amy McNally).

The Dance officially begins at 7PM and we will dance the night away until 10PM. We will also enjoy good refreshments while burning calories on the floor, so don’t worry about going hungry.

By the way, if your are a Basketball fan, we hear you do not fear – the 9PM Tennessee at Kentucky Basketball game on ESPN will be shown on a 48″ or 50″ screen TV, so you don’t have to worry about missing the game! Also, there will be Karaoke before the game, so warm up your vocal cords and be the star of the show and rock the mike!

Tickets for the dance are $10 with proceeds going to support Fellowship’s Singles short-term missions trips!

If you have been around our group very long, then you probably know that our group has strong ties to ministries in Tijuana, Mexico and we have also partnered with a young adult group in Leipzig, Germany for ministry endeavors both here and in Germany with the KLX project. We have also been looking at ways that we may be able to partner with Fellowship’s own missionaries in Poland – Loren and Christina Ozanne. There is also a new orphanage in the Bahamas that we will be finding out more about in our January 31st Hub meeting that has some interesting opportunities for partnering with in ministry. So, we really look forward to lifting all of these areas and our various mission partners in these areas up before the Lord! Please come out and help make this a great time of prayer and sharing of hearts!

Following the prayer time around Noon, we will head off to have lunch somewhere.

Also, everyone is encouraged to stay around after the dinner ends at 8PM and be there to kick off the 24 Hours of Prayer event. The High School ministry will lead off this part of the evening at 8PM and then we will have the Draw Near time of Praise and Worship from 10PM to Midnight.

During the 24 Hours of Prayer, we will be praying over various ministry areas here and around the world and praying over our visiting missionaries and ministry partners. Also, each community group will be leading an hour of prayer at some point during the 24 Hours of Prayer. Soul Purpose will be joining For Better Or Worse (4BOW) from 11AM-Noon on Feb. 6th to pray for Poland, Germany, Mexico and the Bahamas. Following that prayer session, we will go grab lunch somewhere.
