Summer will be over before you know it and soon it will be time to start our 2008-2009 Growth Groups! For those of you who were in a Growth Group in 2007-2008, you know this was probably one of the most rewarding experiences you could have. For those of you that have yet to experience being in a Growth Group, please come to our Sunday Hub meeting on August 17th to see if a Growth Group would be a good fit for you.
Kevin Huggins will give us an overview of what a Growth Group is like and what is expected from its members and what you can expect from a Growth Group. Also, members of last year’s groups will be talking about what the experience has meant to them and their relationships with God and how their lives changed for the better as a result of being in a Growth Group.
Once you have found out more about what a Growth Group is and if you would be interested in being in one, we will be signing up folks to be in our Growth Groups on Sundays in our Hub meetings August 17th, 24th and 31st. The groups will begin meeting the first week of September. There should be multiple groups for each gender (no co-ed groups).
So, make sure to be in the Hub meeting on August 17th to find out more about what could be one of the most important and rewarding experiences you could have this next year!
