The young adults of Fellowship Church will be traveling to Tijuana, Mexico for a mission trip from July 19 through July 26. This trip will include members of the Soul Purpose and the 2B1 community groups plus any other interested persons at Fellowship Church in their 20’s and 30’s.
The purpose and goals of our trip will be shaped by the as yet to be determined make-up of our team; however, our initial plans are for our trip to focus on these two areas:
- working with kids, staff and families at the women’s shelter and the children’s home from a developmental perspective (i.e. a professional social worker on our team will be training us to help train the staff and families on how to best help and serve victims of abuse)
- construction projects
